About Uh-Oh Mama!

We make songs and gentle cartoons for little ones aged 1 to 6, and the grown-ups who watch with them.

Our story

Every parent knows the sound. A cup tips over, a tower comes down, and a small voice says “uh-oh”.

We named ourselves after that moment because it's one of the most important in a young child's day. Something didn't go to plan, and now they get to work out what happens next.

Uh-Oh Mama! makes original songs and short cartoons about exactly those moments. Our characters spill, tumble, forget and get things wrong, then sing their way to trying again.

Our mission

To help young children learn, through music, that mistakes are a normal and even joyful part of growing up.

What we believe

Uh-oh is where learning starts

Spills and tumbles aren't failures. They're how children find out how the world works.

Slow is a feature

Little minds need time to follow along. We leave space to breathe, notice and join in.

Better together

Our songs are made to be sung with a grown-up, not just watched alone.

How a song is made

  1. Start with a moment

    A real, everyday uh-oh: a spill, a lost shoe, a bedtime that won't come.

  2. Write the song

A simple tune and a chorus a two-year-old can sing back after one listen.

  3. Draw and animate

Soft colours, clear shapes and gentle movement that's easy to follow.

  4. Watch it through

Our team watches every episode start to finish and changes anything too loud, fast or confusing.

  5. Share it

On YouTube, with an idea to try at home and often a printable to go with it.
